The Enchantment

£555.00

Join Heather Mackay Young on an online course to experience the enchantment of ritual, retreat and revision, guided by the elements: Earth, Air, Water, Fire, Spirit.

Turning inward with the season and cycles, you are invited into thirteen weeks of alchemy, beginning on Samhain, 31st October 2025 and sailing through Winter Solstice, journeying across Land, Sea and Sky, until Imbolc on 1st February 2026.*

This is your time to light a candle, set an intention, honour the Wheel of the Year. It’s time to clear the clutter and take thoughtful action, to place energy on work-in-progress and experience the essence of who you are as a poet in the world by taking time to finesse poems that are tinctures for these times.

You will be held in a nourishing community alongside poet-friends, stirring the creative cauldron, distilling the essence and transforming catharsis into craft.

You will be guided and grounded. Your work, steered by poems and prompts, thoughtful feedback and revisions that invite your poems to become solid as stone, spacious as sky, wild as waves.

Enchanting.

Limited spaces available.

*Last year this course ran for 7 weeks and people requested we extended this sacred time together to carry us across Winter and into the beginning of Spring. There will be integration time during the holidays when class will take a pause and there will be instruction on how to use this time in order to stay in the work.
